Scenda's founder, Kristin Tobias, recently shared a snippet of the business's origin story in an interview with her alma mater.
Kristin graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln's College of Journalism and Mass Communications (CoJMC) in 2013 with a degree in Advertising and Public Relations. The education she received at the CoJMC, as well as the experience she gained through their Jacht Agency, prepared her to take her career to new places.
In 2015, Kristin bet on herself and moved from Nebraska to New York City without full-time work. The CoJMC's article highlights how taking this leap of faith led to another: starting her own social media business.
